A liquid Iron used to correct Iron deficiencies. Excellent for ‘Greening Up’ amenity turf, whether prior to an event or as part of a winter hardening programme.

Application Rates – Greens, Tees, Fine Amenity Turf
For average maintenance application and “greening up”, apply 1- 1.5 litres per average sized Green (500 sq m) or 20-30 litres per hectare (18 Greens). For extra effect, apply at a rate of 1.5-5 litres per average sized Green (500 sq m) or 30-100 litres per hectare (18 Greens). Dilute product in 300-500 litres of water per hectare. (NB: Applied at the higher rate, blackening of the turf may occur before “greening up” takes place, and moss may be scorched.) Dilution – 1 part product:16-24 parts water. (400ml-1200ml per 10L of water)
GreenCare 6% straight iron is used to green and toughen up grass. This product can be used all year round, although it is particularly useful during the colder months as it will help strengthen the plant against frost and disease. The active ingredient, Iron, is absorbed by the leaf giving rapid results and has been known to blacken moss within hours. This product is ideal for treating large areas such as horse paddocks & amenity areas. Whilst ferrous sulphate is not harmful or hazardous, we would recommend keeping livestock off the treated area for 24-48 hours as a precaution.
Apply GreenCare Liquid Iron by knapsack or boom sprayer to ensure there is good coverage of the grass and moss. Use 600-800L of water per hectare to help improve coverage of thicker swards of grass.
