Deliveries
For next working day delivery orders must be placed before 1.00pm (13:00) Monday-Thursday (Not including UK Bank Holidays). Should you need a product urgently we can arrange early morning and weekend deliveries however this will incur an additional charge. On the very rare occasion that delivery is late due to an unforeseen circumstance, please allow up to 48 hours for delivery. However our current rates as of July 2024, show that the successful delivery rate for next working day delivery is 99.8%.
Within 24 hours of placing your order if you have not received an ‘Order Confirmation’ email, or received your products within the stated timescale then please email our team sales@green-care.co.uk or call 01704 828612.
There are certain restrictions and legislation that we must comply with as we are sending out Pesticides and other harzardous goods. This all depends on the weight of the product, and other factors of what we are sending. All packaging complies with the current legislation by showing the quantity, UN Numbers, Packing group and Class. Our couriers have all Product Safety Data Sheets made available to them, to ensure products are shipped safely.
Deliveries to Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Scilly, Isle of Man, and other remote locations may take longer than the 24/48/72 hours specified. Upon delivery of your order, you will be asked to sign for them, or alternatively a picture will be taken of the delivery by the driver, to acknowledge you’ve received them. GPS is also taken from when the parcel is scanned.
All courier deliveries will have real time order tracking, with 2 consecutive delivery attempts with flexibility to rearrange the delivery & Goods are covered against loss or damage up to £60.
For all palletised deliveries, there must be a suitable place on hard standing ground where the lorry can deliver the pallet safely. Should you be ordering pallets from GreenCare, at the point of purchase, the purchaser must make clear if there are any restrictions on lorry size or loading. Failure to alert us to any restrictions may result in further charges being incurred by the purchaser. At least 1 telephone number must be made available at the point of purchase, so if there are any problems delivering the pallet, the purchaser can be contacted. Please contact us for more info.
For Any claims on deliveries, these must be made in writing to us within 5 days of delivery by the recipient (if different from the buyer). If anything is stolen from the perimeter of a property, we may require the customer to contact the police for any thefts.
Deliveries are not made on the following days

- Easter Monday
- Early May Bank Holiday
- Spring Bank Holiday
- August Bank Holiday
- Christmas Day
- Boxing Day
Delivery rates
Deliveries to mainland UK are FREE. Orders are sent out on a next working day delivery service. However deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Scilly, Isle of Man and other Remote Locations will be charged an additional £13.49 (per 25Kg). Delivery lead times to Remote locations could also take longer and will be delivered within 48-72 hours from dispatch. Remote locations are automatically detected when entering your postcode. It will show you the delivery charge before you commit to purchasing that order.
Local Deliveries
If you are located in any of the following postcodes we will do our best to deliver same day (subject to stock) if ordered before 10:00am (Monday to Friday) This option is not available on a Saturday or Sunday.

- PR4 6 (Mere Brow/Tarleton) 7,8,9,25,26.
- WN6,8.
- WA11.
However should same day delivery not be available it will be next working day.
Click & Collect
You are also able to choose the same day click & collect option when completing an order on our website (subject to stock), which is also free of charge. However the order must be placed before 2pm Monday-Friday. However if the cut off time is missed it will be available to collect the next working day. We would advise that you ring in advance before making your journey to collect from us, to avoid any disappointment. This is available from 8am-4.30pm Mon-Fri however the Click & Collect option is not available on a Saturday or Sunday
Warehouse Storage
In October 2022 we moved into our new bespoke purpose built warehouse and offices. The building has been approved by the environment agency and is BASIS registered, as it has met all environmental and legal requirements for storing pesticides, and Fertilisers. The warehouse has been specially designed for the storage of pesticides and is capable of holding over 100,000 litres of pesticides, and 150 tonnes of Fertiliser & Seed at any one time.
