A Great Choice:

  • For combatting low soil pH
  • For increasing the soils potential of achieving vigorous, healthy growth
  • Healthy bacteria component eats thatch and dead moss

Viano Bio-Lime is a slow-release organic lawn fertiliser with a high pH. As grass grows it naturally takes up essential nutrients from the soil and over time reduces the pH. Acidic rain also adds to the problem, washing out the lime and creating an environment for moss to thrive. This causes the soil to lock up nutrients resulting in outbreaks of moss on your lawn.

Viano Bio-Lime slow release lawn fertiliser is the solution to combating low pH. Best applied in autumn and winter, it sweetens the soil, making it less acidic and promotes healthy strong grass growth. The inclusion of lime in the product neutralises acidic soils making other element nutrients more available. This increases the soils potential of achieving vigorous, healthy growth.

The product contains a higher concentration with a carbonic solubility of 48%. In comparison, standard calcium lime has a carbonic solubility of just 20%.

The healthy bacteria incorporated into Viano Bio-Lime eats excess thatch and dead moss to produce turf food. Using the product as part of a regular maintenance programme helps to keep the lawn clean and healthy eliminating the need to rake or scarify.

Magnesium also features in Viano Bio-Lime lawn fertiliser which maintains a healthy sward with a vibrant colour throughout the autumn and winter months. The dustproof granules are spread very easily and dissolve quickly. Bio-Lime is in a granular form and is applied at 50-100g/m². The 5kg box will cover 100m², and the 20kg bag will cover 200-400m².

As Viano Bio-Lime Lawn Fertiliser is endorsed by the Royal Horticulture Society (RHS), you can be assured that the product meets the very high standards required by the RHS. It is manufactured by Viano in Belgium.
