Thomas Elliott 3-12-12  (2-4mm) granular fertilisers are suitable for use on lawns, fairways, outfields, sports pitches and all different types of turf. We are proud to offer the best granular fertilisers in the UK market for turf and amenity use.

Thomas Elliott Autumn/Winter Fertiliser : 3 – 12 – 12
N: 3 – Nitrogen is responsible for growth & colour of the turf, this level is a lot lower in the winter to avoid too much growth. If Nitrogen is too high it can make the lawn susceptible to disease and moss. 
P: 12 – Phosphate is responsible for root growth of the turf. Essential for the cooler months so the grass is well rooted to help protect it.
K: 12 – Potassium helps the lawn absorb water from soil, to ensure the turf flourishes and fight off disease. Essential in the cooler months to help protect the lawn

Our Autumn Winter 3-12-12 is ideal for use in the autumn & winter on any grass area such as lawns, paddocks, pasture and sports turf. This is a quality, fast acting spreadable  fertiliser with 2-4mm granules. Whilst it is commonly used during the cooler periods, due to the lower levels of Nitrogen and higher amounts of Phosphate & Potassium.Use this fertiliser at an average of 35g per m2.

Treating grass in the autumn and winter is very important as it helps strengthen the grass whilst also offering pre-stress conditioning against the harsh conditions. Treating in the cooler months also helps to reduce the threat of disease, moss & weeds by encouraging a denser sward.
